Too loud

The whole mix sounds too loud. I like the sound of the synths, and the melody/leads you have mix together very well. The song gets a little repetitive after a while, but it's all good. I would like to hear a more prominent bass. I can hear one, but it doesn't stand out like I think that it should.

Adachiskindagod responds:

lol sorry, when i was making the song i totally thought it was way 2 quiet, problem is that i have to switch audio drivers alot and the volumes on each are different

Sweet

I really like the "random" feel to this style of music, how it's all glitchy and messed up. The vocals are good, and I like the effect you used.

As far as constructive criticism goes, I can't really give you much, since I haven't heard much of this style, and I really like how yours sounds.

Nice

I like it when people do remixes and make it their own, instead of just ripping the original. I like how I can hear the original in there, without immediately recognizing it. This would be awesome if you made it a lot longer, or if you made it loop-able.

ClusterLaw responds:

Thanks alot, that's exactly what I was going for. PM me if you are intrested in getting a loop version of this then :)

Great

The panning gets annoying very quickly. It'd be okay if it was just at the beginning, but it goes throughout the song. The drums are really good, and I love the synth that comes in at 0:54. As short as it is, you could make it a nice loop, or you should work on this one and make a longer techno song. Right now, it fits as a good ambient sound.

Direlire responds:

Thanks for the advices !
I'll work on it!

=)

Great

The lead instrument is very nice, and catchy. I also really like the tempo adjustment. And the way you bring in the sound for the drums is really cool; starting with the 8-bit sound and bringing the hard drums over it. The new instrument at 0:52 fits perfectly and the timing for it is great.

One thing I noticed though, is the lead doesn't seem to stop. Even at 1:29 when the sound completely changes, the lead still continues. It starts to become boring hearing the same sound over and over.

2:29 is good, and I like the sounds panning. Throughout the song, you have that trance sound (I don't know what it's called) where you bring the sound in and out, like it's being compressed and decompressed. I like that a lot, as it fits the track.

The ending is good, but I would either end it at 3:44, or let the lead finish it's riff, as it would make the whole song loop perfectly, and might not sound like it's cutting off so much.

Overall, great track. Despite some minor flaws, you still get my download and a 9/10, 5/5 from me.

Not horrible, but it does need some work.

I hate it when my PC slows down while I'm trying to write stuff...

Starting off, you have a good sound with the fade in, but the percussion that comes it doesn't really compliment the instrument too well. The clicking sound just doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the drums. And the hats and kick should have more power to them because they sound so weak compared to the lead.

The sudden change at 0:30 seems completely random, so I'd suggest a transaction to get to the next sound you're going for. The bass isn't bad, but it just sounds like an unaltered midi.

At 1:02, when most of the instruments stop, it sounds so plain and boring. Maybe having another instrument to compliment the rest of the sounds would help.

Again, at 1:16 the instrument that comes back in seems random and sudden. You may also work on mixing, adding reverb, delays, and other sounds to "clean up" your sound more.

Overall, not a horrible track, but it does need some work.

photosyntesen responds:

i understand what you mean but at 1.02 it was the point to stop almost every thing to have a "break" XD

Thanks for the review and the 7 ;)

Not bad

Sounds like you favor the left ear though. You just have more sounds playing in the left then in the right, which makes the mix sound unbalanced. The instrument that comes in at 0:57 seems random, and doesn't quite fit the rest of the song, as it's just at the end. It would be a neat transition, if the song was longer. Still a good track though.

Good

The intro's really good, but it starts to get a little boring until around 2:08 or so. I really like the deep dark piano. Like newnerdproductionsTM said, it's not your best, but it's still a sweet track!

ganon95 responds:

my favorite part in this song is 2:59-3:50, the piano also had a wind chimes sound at an extremely low pitch going along with it

I don't know what I'm giving a chance

First off, the kick needs to be centered. The pan is just annoying being in only my right ear. The one note I hear is too high pitched and there is literally no melody in this song. The pad thing that comes in would usually seem unnecessary, but it's one of the only sounds here.

Not to mention, this is only 25 seconds long. All I hear is a weak drum beat with a weird horn every so many seconds. Come on man, you can do better then this. Spend a little more time on your work before you submit it.

Sweet

Great remix. Sounds like the original, but with your own twist on it, which makes it good. I'd like to hear more percussion throughout though. The claps don't seem to fit with the rest of the tone. I think a nice groove beat on the drums would fit a lot better.

Watch it around 1:15 as the sounds seem to clash a little bit. Overall, it's a nice track, with a few flaws.

halfdeadorfull responds:

thanks! yeah, i agree with you; some of this does clash at points... oh well! thank you so much for the great review!

What's going on? I am freakin' out! I'm always up for reviewing something, so if you want me to check out your stuff just drop me a PM.
